Dott. Ing. Barbara Mavì Masini

Short Bio

Barbara M. Masini received the Dr.Ing. degree (with honors) in telecommunications engineering and the Ph.D. degree in electronic engineering, computer science and telecommunications both from the University of Bologna, Italy, in 2001 and 2005, respectively.

 The research acitivity is performed within WiLab (Wireless Communication Laboratory), at the University of Bologna and it is mainly focused on physical layer aspects, with particular attention to MC-CDMA systems and equalization techniques, diversity techniques, short and medium-range wireless networks and coexistence issues among them. She is also interested in Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) for infomobility.

She is involved in the proposal and the development of several national and international projects.

Since the academic year 2006/2007 she has the appointment of Professor of Laboratorio di Telecomunicazioni LA. She is also tutor for Sistemi di Telecomunicazione LA and Sistemi di telecomunicazione LS for Prof. Oreste Andrisano.

She is IEEE member and Vehicular Technology Society member.

She is TPC (Technical Program Committee) member of several international conference.

She acts as reviewer for several internaitonal journals and conferences.
